My Iphone X quit working when doing the IOS 14.6 update

My Iphone X quit working when doing the IOS 14.6 update . . totally. I have tried to manually force reset the phone as well as plugging into my MacBook, to no avail. The I music does not recognize the phone and states that it could not be found. Nothing happens when doing the force reset.

Any ideas? My nearest Apple Store is 2 hours away and I really do not want to drive that far if it is a unsolvable issue.
