I'm using iPad Pro, I downloaded the TikTok apps last week and I can switch between portrait and landscape mode for the apps.
Just from today, TikTok apps stuck forever in landscape mode. Is the only apps have this issue.
These is the step I tried:
All of the step I taken cannot fix the issue. Please assist me in solving this.

Mine will flip to portrait mode if I go to a live video on the feed but if I click on a broadcaster's profile while they're live it stays in landscape.
This happened a couple of weeks ago and it suddenly started working right again but this morning first thing it's back to landscape.
I hope somebody can figure this one out.
i emailed tik tok and turns out it’s part of the new update so it’s supposed to be like that. I still haven’t found a way to revert it back so hopefully tik tok fixes it

You’re not going to like the answer. The recent TikTok app update makes landscape mode mandatory. No reason given. But the app now forces it. Another vendor obviously out of touch with consumers.
This is not an Apple issue. Tiktoc made the change.
This fix works for me if I find a live in my scrolling feed. Lives in inbox will not work. It still takes a few tries though.
So odd this issue has been happening for me too, hopefully it will get back to normal where we can flip in both ways. :/
