Printing to scale from iPad Pro

Hi there,

I would like to know how to print to scale on my Borther printer from my iPad Pro. My profession requires me to print A4 and A3 plans to scale at either 50% or 100% and I can’t seem to find the ability to set this.

I have download teh Brother print/scan and copy app though no success through here either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Printing from ipad Hi everyone I am trying to print a jpeg that’s 15x15cm big from my iPad. Unfortunatelly, the iPad always resizes the image to fit to the media size. So for example, if I choose A4 as Media size, it makes my image bigger. If I choose a smaller media size like envelope, it makes my image smaller. I would like to print my image on a A4 paper and keep it the size of 15x15 cm. When printing from my laptop, there’s a button I can unklick that sais “scale to fit media”. I have a brother printer that’s connected to the same network as my iPad. I already downloaded the brother app iScan, but inside the app there is no option to change that scale to fit media nuisance….. Can anyone help me please? It’s driving me mad!

How to control print scaling in Photos in iPadOS 17? In the Photos app in iPadOS 17, we've noticed that portions of images are cut off when we print out to a sheet of paper on our local printer. So far we are not finding a way to change the scaling of the image, or the position of the image on a page. Is there a trick to this? Or is there another simple app that can be used to accomplish this?

hp 6400 printer and iphone prints too large. printer options on iphone doesnt do anything. how to change print size from iphone? My iphone prints enormous to my HP 6400. There is a "print options " on the top bar right before you print but tapping the options does nothing. I've tried to find a way to change the size on the HP app but nothing there. There has to be a way to change the size on the print. ?

AirPrint is quite flexible, however, iPad does not natively surface flexible print formatting and scaling.

Some printer manufacturers have a suitable companion App that provides Print capabilities for mobile devices. Check for a suitable App from your Printer manufacturer.

You might also consider installing a “helper application”; one such option is Readdle Printer Pro:
