Apple music stops playing music after 15 seconds.

Try this: Go to settings -> Music -> Audio quality and set Wi-Fi and mobile streaming to High Quality.

This fixed my issue, as I set the audio quality to lossless and all my music stopped playing.

I have this problem on a new Mac Mini running nothing else and connected to the net via Ethernet. Apple Digital Masters and HLS seem to be the trigger. The problem occurs on downloaded or streaming files.

Sometimes mine doesn't stop, it just starts playing random static. I suspect a damaged file of some sort or dropped bits when streaming.

Very very annoying when you're trying to listen to music, or using music as a background, and you have to stop and FF to another cut because you're being blasted random bits of static.

It continues to happen and seems to have gotten worse since iOS 15.1. The only potential solution I’ve found is to delete the song from my library as soon as it happens. Once I do that, it will reload and play. Sucks that I have to remove, from my library, music that I’ve purchased simply to get the songs to play on my iPhone through Apple Music. It’s also very time consuming when I choose to listen to an album, as I have to delete each individual song from my library.

Happened to me for a while, I turned Lossless music on and it started to work like normal, not sure if this will work for everyone or not but

No, have no shared family accounts. It's just bad software quality.

Is not Bad software Quality, they are doing all the best the can to solve this, so let’s all be patient

Looks like it’s been fixed, I had the same issue since the lossless update. But today I downloaded a full album in lossless and listened it offline, every single song played fully.

Well, that's not true. If software would be tested by quality management such things should not happen.

My Apple Music does the same, not sure if it’s the lossless audio or Dolby atmos,but it happens with my downloaded music when offline and without cellular data
