Deleted data sources in Health: is recovery possible from iCloud backup?

I inadvertently deleted some of my Apple Watch entries from the Data sources part of the Health app on my iPhone and I now find much of the exercise recorded for about a year is missing.

Is there a way of recovering this from the automatic iCloud backup? I've restored the phone from the last backup but these data are still missing.

My wife did this a few years ago and lost 2 years of badges and awards, unless you have an icloud backup from a date just before you deleted those data sources then they are lost forever,my wife didn't and I am still getting earache about it now.
