MacBook Pro does not detect a second monitor

hello, I have just bought a Mac book 16 inch running macosx Big sure 11.4 and I would like to edit/work with a second monitor but there is no way to detect the ext monitor. I am sure that my docking station works properly because it does with the work PC and it recognise the keyboard the hard disks and the external speakers . I have also tried to connect the monitor directly from usb 3 with an adaptor HDMI. Can you help please?

Sorry but this answer is Not Helpful at all. The dock station works perfectly all my cables and monitor are ok because they work with the "old" Macbook with MocOsx Catalina 10.15.07. In Theory the brand new Macbook Pro 16 inch 2019 with "Big Sure 11.4" has 4 USB3 ports Digital video output to add monitors but it is not able to detect the second Monitor via a dock station and neither via a cable USB3. It has 2 graphic cards 1) AMD Radeon 5300M + 2) Intel UHD. Can you help to fix this problem?

I do editing video I cannot work with just one monitor. Many Thanks
