iPhone 12 (iOS 14.6) Lock Screen Shows Widget Activity Even When Locked

Hey all, I'm a bit concerned with the amount of information someone can view or access simply by swiping right while the phone is locked.


When doing this, I'm able to see all of my widgets that include my most recent notes, calendar events, and Siri suggestions like "send a text to family member" as well as photo memories.


I don't want anything visible to someone that might be trying to snoop around if they get ahold of my phone for some reason. IMO, this is a security flaw for the sake of convience.


Will an update please remove this? (Screenshot is showing my locked phone with ability to swipe over to my widgets which display personal info.)

We understand that you want to change the access to your Today View from Lock screen. You can manipulate what widgets you want visible in Today View or you can remove access to Today View while iPhone is locked in Settings > Face ID & Passcode (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Touch ID & Passcode (on other iPhones). You can view this information and more in the iPhone User Guide.
