Warning when running First Aid in Disk Utility

Late 2015 27" iMac - Big Sur - 3TB Fusion Drive

When I run First Aid, I get warnings and I'm not sure what I can or should do anything about them. The complete output is in the additional text file. Warnings are of the nature of:

warning: bitmap store: reached limit of 23040 B-tree nodes

warning: object (oid 0x40000266b4e86): Unable to mark physical extent range (0x40000266b4e86 + 297) allocated for space verification

Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

I firmly believe that once Disk Utility issues warnings like this, you are probably in the market for a replacement hard drive, but DriveDX can verify that.

Sometimes it is just the directory that is bad.

I purchased TechTools Pro 14 and ran it's diagnostics and it doesn't report any problems. First Aid continues to report problems. Some apps have been impacted. For example, Podcasts SQLlite database was corrupt. I had to delete it.

Once you start getting corruption of that sort, you might find it better to clone, wipe, and clone back. This will allow it to lock the bad blocks. Keep in mind, as bad blocks grow, the storage will eventually have to be replaced.
