How to activate the one year free of Apple TV?

I got an email that I am eligible for one year free of Apple TV with the recent purchase of my Mac but the links don't work and I can't activate the offer. HELP!!

You can redeem the offer if you

Activate using the new device (your Mac)
You are not already an tv+ subscriber
The device is less than 3 moths old.
