I have Mac mini 2018 with i7 processor. I am having issue with connecting it to my monitor via HDMI. When I startup the Mac it shows indicator light but my monitor won’t show anything. The problem isn’t with monitor. I’ve tried it with another Mac and it worked.

Which Mac? The mini is more sensitive to RF noise than most. Have you tried a shorter (5’ or less), certified cable?
If your mini works with the TV, then the mini HDMI port is good. Could you post details on your monitor please? How long is the cable?
Hi, thanks for your response. Yes I have certified cable. I've tried different cables which I usually use on my second Mac. I've also connected Mac to my TV and it works fine there. It only doesn't work with external monitor. I think there is issue with resolution preferences
I’m not familiar with this model but your idea is a good one: try different settings on both the monitor and the mini until you hit the sweet spot. If nothing works, you may need to move to DP with suitable adapter. Good luck!
