My notes are appearing on two gmail accounts I have set on on one device, and when I delete in one account it deletes in the other. I would like to keep the two accounts separate and distinct. Any assistance how I undo what I did to get in this position? Thank you.

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are having an issue with the Notes app on your iPhone. Based on your description, you may need to change the default account and here is more info:
