iMac 2019: Application that supports Airplay

Issue: Unable to airplay from VLC to Sony TV

Don't want to mirror entire screen from mac to the TV and just the movie.

VLC don't have an airplay icon on the app like apple tv app.

Do you have recommendations?

Mac mini 2018 or later

Airplay option is not in displays. what do I do I am trying to mirror stream from Laptop to TV. Airplay option is available in Displays in System Preferences. What do I do? How do I airplay when then is no clickable option to turn on

AirPlay Display Off on iMac I'm using the latest macOS Big Sur on iMac (Late 2015), the AirPlay Display doesn't have any option except "Off" since Sierra or High Sierra. Do i need to buy TV to use the AirPlay Display on iMac? Since there's no option at all to change it.
