one airpod will not be recognized
one of my AirPods will not connect to my AirPods case and is showing up on the set up screen as it only allows the right airport to connect

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with connecting one of your AirPods. Was this a replacement AirPod? Ther related article at the top of the page is a great place to start. If you followed those steps, did you also follow the footnote that states "If the status light still flashes amber, connect the case to power, close the lid, and wait 20 minutes. Then open the lid and press and hold the setup button again for a few seconds until the status light flashes white"?
