Can electrical leakage be the reason of the death of a new MacBook Pro?

Hi! Three months after buying a new MacBook Pro, I had to send it for repair because it stopped switching on for apparently no reason. I received it with motherboard and Touch ID replaced. But now I have a doubt: when the MacBook is in charge (into any electrical outlet of my house) I can feel electrical leakage on the metal surface, so I'm afraid to recharge the repaired one. Could it have damaged the computer? What should I do?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2
