11.5.2 display issues with M1 mini

Just updated my M1 Mini to 11.5.2. I use dual 22" displays, the left display being my main. In 11.5.1, I could be working on the left display and drag my mouse to the right to move to the secondary display (and back and forth between the 2). After updating to 11.5.2, I'm working on the main left display and now to get to the secondary display, I have to drag the mouse to the left and enter the secondary display from the outside edge.

Tried all display and mouse settings in System Preferences, putting computer to sleep, swapping cables between displays, restarting.

What am I missing?

Mac mini, macOS 11.5

Go to Apple > System Preferences > Displays > select the Arrangement tab > drag and move the displays to the desired position.

in addition, it is also a good idea to go to Apple > System Preferences > Mission Control and uncheck the “Display have separate Spaces” box”

Problem solved!

No need for Safe Boot.

The update changed the monitor arrangement in System Preferences.

I didn't notice this until after dragging the menu bar back and forth multiple times.

I clicked on the monitor to bring up the red outline and it was reversed.

Dragged the 2nd monitor back across and problem was solved.
