New AppleTV loses internet connection repeatedly

I have 3 AppleTV’s in the house but in the last few weeks one of them (the newest) freezes and loses internet connection randomly but multiple times a day. The only fix is to restart the unit.


In order to troubleshoot so far I have:

  • ensured I am on latest TVOS
  • changed from 5ghz to 2.4ghz wifi
  • reset factory settings
  • swapped with another unit in the house in case it was a location issue


is anyone else having a similar issue?
