MP3 downloads not opening/paying in iTunes

Am running into the same issue and unfortunately none of the solutions listed above have worked. Apple's way of stopping Youtube conversion? Huge bummer if this is the case.

If you have an MP3 cleanup tool you can give it a try, or try MP3s from a different source.

I found that if you change the extension of the files from .mp3 to .mp4 I am able to drag the files to the music App

I had this problem earlier when trying to do this…

I found the solution to be simply changing the file format to “.m4a”. It imported fine after that

I used a "youtube to MP4 converter" I looked up on google instead of a "youtube to mp3" i have always done. And that did the trick!

How do you change the format to that? It doesn’t look like it supported and VLC.
