Does it seem like the battery is draining somewhat more quickly with the emergency patch installed? I have an Apple Watch SE for reference. Admittedly, I began using an app called Phone Buddy that stays active passively in the background at around the same time. I'm trying to figure out which is causing the battery drain by asking others if they're experiencing it as well. If no one is, I'll have to assume it's the new app.

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.
But if Phone Buddy its always active, that could very well be the problem.

I think your suggestion of waiting a few days might be my best bet right now. I'm having to charge a little more often, but if it's gone in a few days, it'll be worth the wait. Thanks for all the included resources! I will check them out. :)
