IOS 15 Home Screen Layout

After upgrading my icons were reduced in size and there are huge left and right margins on the iPad mini 5 in vertical mode. I am finding it harder to see due to vision. How do I fix it so the icons are larger and I properly use the margin space?

Maybe Apple will restore the option to have our home screen back to the way it was before the update in the next IOS 15.2 update. Any ideas ?

Ugly layout iOS15 on iPad I upgraded my iPad 8th generation (2020) to iOS15. The layout of the home screen is extremely ugly with less distance between the icons and very large margins on the sides. How can I restore the layout of the home screen of my iPad to 5 by 4 icons like on iOS 14? Choosing large / small icons doesn’t make a difference.

iOS 15 has home screen icons too far apart! I've updated my iPad to iOS15. My icons on the home screen are now too far apart (I keep them organised to fit one page, now they are spread across two pages!). Is there any way to go back to "normal"?

Any updates as of yet? I updated to 15.3 hoping it was a glitch of some sort but nothing.

My ipads are on iOS15 and I see

Settings, general, Transfer or reset ipad, then my choices are to reset or erase all contents and settings.

Unless that’s coming in a software update.
