My iPhone 13 Pro Max is stuck in restore progress

I purchased my IPhone 13 Pro in January and have been dealing with this issue until seconds ago. I tried mksell’s solution and it finally is resolved. Thanks!!

Could you tell me exactly what you did please? Been having this issue since I bought my iPhone in January too.

By "hard reset" do they mean force restart?

I've already contacted support and it's been months since this thing has been going on, I also just tried mksell's solution but still no fix.

SAME! Been stuck for almost two months. Exact problem. Have tried everything. So frustrating.

How do you find the backups? I have a newborn daughter and am scared of losing memories

The phone turns off Wi-Fi when it locks, unless it is plugged in. So if you had the App Store set to only download on Wi-Fi it will pause when the phone locks. Leaving it plugged in until the downloads finish should be sufficient. My phone, with 300 3rd party apps, restores all of the apps and my 10,000 music tracks in about an hour on a 100mbps Wi-Fi connection.

In my case it looked like my IPhone X ( the one I was transferí g from)I had a beta version and it could not upgrade to iOS 15 so I had to use my friends iPhone 11 to transfer my iCloud storage and setting as if it was my new phone, then from her phone I was able to do the same process of transferring my iCloud info and data into my new iPhone 13 and it worked . Later my friend restored her info into her iPhone 11 and we were both finally happy up and running. Hope it helps

Great, glad you found a solution. Sorry that I didn’t think about beta versions earlier; it’s a rather rare problem.

You can remove a beta version in order to update, BTW→Restore Shipping Software
