"Sign in to apple podcasts" keeps popping up on Macbook air

Anytime I try to do ANYTHING on my Macbook air, I keep getting an annoying dialogue popup that wants me to sign in to Apple Podcasts with my Apple ID and password.

I don't even use Apple Podcasts, so I am not sure where this is coming from or why. I have tried simply inputting my Apple ID and password, but it continues to pop up and ask me to sign in, and I have to just keep clicking cancel every two seconds. This is very disruptive as I am in an online masters program and do all of my school work on my laptop.

Does anyone know how to prevent this from constantly popping up?!?!

The issue is not with trying to sign in to Apple podcasts. I don't even use Apple podcasts! I am NOT trying to sign in! A box just keeps popping up on my Macbook Air over and over again asking me to sign in to Apple podcasts for some reason. That is what I am trying to fix!
