iPhone 13 notification sound too low

I haven't had good sound since my iphone 6. I loved that phone and have hated the sound issues with every iphone I have had since then. :( It is infuriating that Apple doesn't give a sh*t about fixing it! Can barely hear any of the sounds that we need like when we send mail. There is no way of knowing the mail was sent unless you hear that sound.

I just upgraded from an iPhone SE 2020 to the iPhone 13 Mini. The notification sounds on my iPhone SE were nice and loud but I can barely hear them on my iPhone 13 Mini. It's very frustrating since this was a really expensive phone for me. If anyone knows of a fix I would love to hear it.

I know what I heard. My iPhone SE 2020 was much louder. I could actually hear the notification sounds without straining. I could even hear them from other rooms in my house. With my iPhone 13 Mini, the vibration is louder than the sound.

Is the first time i bought an iphone and the last one. I am not going to buy again. this phone has nothing to offer more than any other. of course I have the same problem with the 12 mini. and I'm sure they will not fix it. it is unacceptable 800+ € phones not to sound loud. I got my iPhone 13 pro max yesterday. The lack of sound is extremely annoying. I am not deaf but can’t hear this. My android had a control system for sounds;system sounds, media sounds, and ringer. That’s a much needed design on this phone.

Same here, soooo annoying! I’ve got an iPhone mini on iOS 15.6. And when my phone is connected to a Bluetooth speaker, forget it. I hear zero notifications because the quiet alert sounds stay on the phone instead of going to the speaker, so music drowns everything out and I miss all my text messages. How can this continue being an issue after so mush time and so many complaints??? Ridiculous, Apple.

My buddies android text tone is very loud. My iPhone 13 pro max can’t get that loud. But apps and you tube videos per se are plenty loud. It’s almost like apple caps it’s volume level with alert tones. Because the phone has the ability to get loud. But my texts are not. It stinks.

Yes even im facing the same issue. The notification sound of iMessage, whatsapp and even the typing sounds of the keyboard are reduced as compared to iphone xr, 11, 12 and even xs series. I tried looking for solutions on the web but yah i ended up here. Lets see if apple really cares about their customers.

APPLE please fix this issue!!!! I cannot hear notifications. Apple can you hear us? We can't hear our phones!!!!! Personally I wish I never bought this POS. I had a Samsung for many many years without problems. This phone is buggy. There are always hiccups going on. Plus I CANNOT believe that there isn't an always on clock display. WTF? I had this 6 years ago with Samsung. This thing is a lifeless brick. Wish I could get my money back.

Users should be able to hear notifications.

I wish I had kept my I Phone 8 Plus. I never had this problem with that phone. If I had known this was an issue, I would have never upgraded. I think this will be my last I Phone. Very disappointing.

Just purchased an iPhone 13 and having the same issue.

Ring alerts are loud, watching videos loud, but anything such as texts alerts etc are very quiet.

My iPhone XR that I sold before upgrading was amazing for alert volume.

Just hope Apple releases an update to fix the low sound on alerts soon!!! Missing so many things. Especially when phone is in your pocket.

Yes! I’m having the same problem. I also think it’s the software issue. Hopefully Apple will resolve this issue asap.

Same problem here. Just got a new IPhone 13 and all alerts have very low volume!
