iPhone 13 notification sound too low

I got my iPhone 13 3 days ago, after using it for 2 full days, I realized that the notification sound is way too low. It applies to WhatsApp, iMessage, email etc. Even though I set all volume to the loudest; and googled how to fix it online then tried everything posted on the internet but still didn't improve.

I changed from iPhone XR to iPhone 13, but my iPhone XR with iOS 14 was perfectly fine, the notification sound was very loud with no issue at all.

ANSWER -- SOLVED

Got to Settings--Accessibility--Face ID & Attention and turn "Attention Aware Features" OFF. If this is set to on and you are using the phone when an alert is triggered, the iphone when locked will lower the volume of "some alerts." Setting this to OFF made my iPhone 13 work the same as my iPhone 6 used to work--volume "sticks" for all alerts.

Every iPhone running iOS 14 or later have this issue.

Just try this test. (It’s just a test and it didn’t solve the problem.

Go to sounds & haptics

Set ringtone and alerts volume all the way up

Set the same sound tone for both ringtone and text tone. For example “Sonar” (you can find it in “Classic “)for ringtone and “Sonar” for text tone and you will hear the volume difference.

Choosing “Sonar” it’s just an example but it’s helpful because is very loud.

Very strange since it’s an iOS issue and every iPhone running iOS 14 or later is affected.

I can’t believe Apple has made an exception just for you.

Just perform this test:

Settings, Sound & Haptics, Ringer and alerts volume all the way up and change with buttons OFF

Sounds and vibration patterns, Ringtone choose “Sonar” found in classic

Text Tone choose “Sonar” found in the bottom list “Ringtones”, and you will hear the volume difference between ringtones and Tex Tone alert.

You people need to do what I did and call Apple Care and report the problem. They are aware of the issue and it was told to me that they're wroking on a fix for the next updates. I suggest you call Apple Care too and report it. Put more pressure on Apple to soove this issue ASAP! They don't read this forum. I sent the link to the AC operative and he read it and (maybe) put it on the report. But if you guys don't call them and complain they have no reason to push a fix anytime soon. They will make u do all the useless tests mentioned on this thread by some clueless folks. We all know what the problem is and that it cannot be solved with those tricks. JUST CALL APPLE CARE!
