Can't re-download removed songs (itunes store shows "Purchased" instead of cloud icon)

Years ago, I deleted an album from my music library. Now, I can't re-download them and posted tips don't apply.

In the itunes store, instead of showing a cloud icon, the songs say "Purchased" next to them under the price column. Does anyone have familiarity with this problem?

The options next to the song only include ways to "share" a link to the music. No option is given for downloading. I have the same issue on my iphone, ipad, and pc. (On PC, purchased is grayed out.)

Meanwhile, they don't show up in the purchased list for my account (under all or not on this device).

I found the emailed receipt showing I purchased the songs in 2015, but the "report problem" link in the email only leads to options that aren't relevant.

I would think this means apple wants you to re-purchase songs once you delete them from your account. But even that isn't given as an option - since "Purchased" shows up where normally the option to buy it would normally be!

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities frustrated-DIL,

It sounds like you're having some trouble redownloading a purchased album.

Checking the storefront, as well as purchased content, were definitely good steps to take.

Based on what you've tried, it sounds like the album might have been inadvertently hidden. Use the steps on the following page to see whether you can unhide it: Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books, once unhidden you should then see it appear under purchased.

If you still aren't able to see the album, check the receipt to see whether you can verify they were downloaded from the same Apple ID, or check purchases under any other Apple ID accounts you own.

Cheers!
