HomePod Mini ARC connection

I have stereo HomePod minis connected to Apple 4k TV (2021), which is connected to the HDMI-ARC on LG OLED C1 television.

I am trying to enable Audio Return Channel (BETA) on Apple TV audio output settings, so I can get to use my HomePod minis for other HDMI inputs (such as PS4, Nintendo Switch). I have turned the features eARC, HDMI-CEC on LG television. However, I am still getting an error that I can’t “Play Television Audio.”

The error: Unable to Set Up Audio Return Channel

Apple TV hasn’t received a response from your television…

Any ideas what’s going on?

RESOLVED.

I didn’t carefully look at which port that supported ARC. It was on my 2nd port.

Working perfectly now!
