Faulty Face ID

I bought the new iphone 13Pro on the day of the launch (6 Days ago), and my Face ID stop working. So I reset the Face ID to configure it again, but now it isn’t able to find/configure my face (any face). Keep asking me to come closer, move away, go higher, go lower — it just doesn’t configure even after following all the directions given.

Either return it, get a refund and purchase a new one or make a Genius Bar appointment and get a service replacement which at this point in time will be a new unit. Before you do that, if you have a case on your iPhone take it off and try again, but in the dark or very low light.

Thank you for your guidance! I took it to the Apple Centre and they ran tests which showed an issue with Face ID. They’re sending it to their centre to get it inspected — said they’ll either fix it or replace the phone. I hope they replace it since it’s not so exciting to have a new phone that needed repairs, and God knows if there are other problems in future. Thank you again!
