Choppy flickering video - iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

I recently purchased iphone 13 and FB messenger calls are choppy/flickering. Tried installing and uninstalling messenger but same result. Tried resetting network settings and updating iOS, still same result. iphone 12s and android fones in our wifi network are working fine with FB messenger calls, only iphone 13 has issues. Regular phone calls are working fine.

Hi Eric. This is happening to me with even the Apple camera app. Is there a way to delete the iPhone’s camera app and reinstall that? Or is it just a universal issue with the IPhone 13 Pro Max with all apps and it still hasn’t been fixed?

I am fully disappointed with the glitching and screen flickering in many well established apps. Safari. Text messages. Little glitches all over the place using this very expensive “upgrade! 😓😳 from the XS Max.

Apple needs to address why there is such a horrible experience for all users.

I agree completely Kimmik! I’ve been to the apple store twice now and they say it’s third party apps on my phone. So this time I sat outside the store doors abs did a complete factory reset on my phone. Went back into the store once it was up and going and it again had all the glitching. And another issue I’ve had is staying connected to my home wifi. My phone disconnects from the wifi a lot and sometimes locks up. I dumped a perfectly working IPhone 12 iPhone for this pile of junk! Apple is fully aware of all these issues. To charge $2,000 for a boat anchor makes me sick. I still over a month later have a MacBook Air M1 sealed in its box and don’t wanna use it because of how Apples treated me :(. I don’t even wanna use my Apple Watch series 6 wifi+cellular either. I’ve had my internet provider swap out my wifi router 3 times now. Abs last week they even installed 4 pods in my house to keep the wifi signal strong. But no one else in my home has issues on the wifi but me. Oh and another thing is the screen brightness dropping periodically. And my auto brightness is also disabled. The store said that’s because my Otterbox Strada case is causing my phone to over heat

Im having the same issue. It started when I downloaded IOS 15 don’t blame the developer.

hi, i just got my iphone13 yesterday, and i still have my iphone xs max... i have stuttering video issues on my 13 but not on my xs max. i highly doubt that this is a third party issue. thank you

No they were not so it looks like an IOS 15 issue.
