Choppy flickering video - iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

Did you try to get a replacement phone? My email is also laggy on my new i13 pro max and the keyboard flickers when sending out messages on WhatsApp and google chrome. I tried to get a new replacement phone but they are out of stock now and this left me no choice. So disappointing

Same here. Flickering is occurring while I use keyboard, with video playback, and in Apple Music when playing a song after a search. Example: a search for “Drake” generates a result of songs by that artist. When you select a song to play it, all album art in results flicker. Very annoying, especially after spending over $1200 on a new iPhone 13 Pro Max. This needs to be fixed immediately! Running IOS 15.0.1.

Were both phones updated to the latest iOS 15.1?

It's doing it on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. My keyboard too. It just flickers. When I take video, I can't even watch it because it keeps flickering.

Same to me IPhone 7P I open Browsers Chrome and safari and play video but only dark screen and sound come both in Picture in Picture and full screen other app like Netflix it’s work but Browsers nop when I update to IOS 15 same problem happened to me when update to IOS 13 or 14 but the different in app work but browsers no.

Got my iPhone 13 pro yesterday. I watched multiples videos to fix the problem. No results. My screen is still flickering and not only with videos but also when I switch from one app to the other.

Please APPLE, do something ASAP. And stop blaming third party apps or developers. The problem only occurred when I upgraded to iOS15

I was told I was going to get a replacement just to then be told I wasn’t “eligible” for one. For some unknown reason that none of the three apple workers knew why. Only option they had that i was “eligible” for was to send in my new phone and if they couldn’t fix it, they would send me a refurbished one. Ridiculous.

Just bought my iPhone 13 pro and having the same problems! Keyboard flickering when searching on chrome and videos on fb messenger also flickering!! I forced restart, uninstalled and reinstalled apps, lowered brightness, turned off predictive mode… nothing has fixed the issues!

Exactly the same thing is happening to my iPhone 13 PRO hence why I am here. This problem needs to be resolved asap. I tested it with the same video on iPhone 11 PRO. Had both phones sitting side by side watching the same video and the iPhone 13 PRO was glitching but the iPhone 11 PRO wasn’t. Clearly an Apple problem. Fix it asap please.

New iPhone 13 pro max with video flicker and stutter but only seems to be happening in Facebook and FB Messenger. Not in instagram, YouTube, etc. Not happening in the camera and video taken on the phone.

Annoying. but I think it’s a sign to stop using Facebook and Messenger. 🤪

I have an iPhone 13 pro max as well. And I drive uber too. So whenever I get an order and I’m out of the Uber App, when I click on the notification badge it goes to the app and the screen glitches for a good 1 second in weird purple and all colours. I thought this was only me.

i am also facing the same problem with my brand new iphone 12 pro max after updating to ios 15 videos in messenger starts to flick and also facing the bug in Instagram apple should fix this as soon as possible.

I do have the same problem, the apple give me a new Iphone 13 pro and I have the same problem!! 2 new Iphones with the same problem! What can I do in this situation? It’s not fair to pay for a new phone and to have this problems!

Yeah my IPhone 13 Pro Max has the whole dimming dark a few times a day. My auto brightness is off and I also have True Tone off. And the other irritating issue I’ve had is when you scroll up or down content on the phone the screen almost hemeradges :(. It goes all choppy and flickering rapidly. Went to Apple store and they said it’s the “way” I’m using my phone. Wtf! I dumped a perfectly working IPhone 12 Pro Max and upgraded to this.
