My alarm clock is not making any sound since the iOS 15 update. Apple Watch also not participating in the morning alarm.

Okay so I finally figured this out for those who use music for their alarm. The alarm will not play a song if it was downloaded in lossless audio format. Remove the download you want to use from your library and then download it again after switching the audio quality setting to “high quality” under music settings. You can then switch it back. Just make sure that the song you are trying to use for your alarm wasn’t downloaded in the lossless format.
When I try to use a song in lossless format, I get no sound and no vibrate but when I use a song downloaded in high quality, I get both sound and vibrate. Odd but try it yourself and hopefully that works for you as well.
Exactly the same here, I’m on an iPhone XR running iOS 15.1, yesterday it did exactly what you described, today it’s working, fine, very strange 🙄
I found a fix if you want to use music for your alarm. See my previous post and let me know if it works for you. This was very frustrating for me and I’m so relieved it works now.
i’m using a standard alarm tone (Night Owl) so not a music thing🤔

I haven’t gotten anything and now my son’s isn’t working he was late this morning. I use it for more than just a wake up alarm it’s frustrating.
Agreed! Super frustrating, inconvenient, and in some cases even dangerous (medication reminders, pick up the baby from daycare, etc.) Hopefully, they will get a fix soon.
Has anybody been able to give you an answer, my alarms are doing the same thing. I have overslept so many times and I’m about sick of it.
Same issue here I actually charged my fire tablets using as an alarm for now till apple fixes the issue
Same for me. Alarm stopped working on three iPhones (one 8 and two 13 models) since 15.2.
I hope Apple will fix this soon or send me an old fashioned alarm clock ;-)
Thanks for your quick answer. Deleting existing alarms and creating new ones does not work unfortunately. I‘ll be waiting for Apple to fix this.

The music fix works sometimes for some people, not for all.
I am still awaiting Apple fix. Both alarms and timers are non-op for my watch. Going on 2 months now.
