Alarm stopped working after iOS 15

I set my IPad as well “belt & braces” 😂 it’s a nuisance though, hopefully there will be a fix in the next release, has anyone contacted Apple support 🤔

Gutted this hasn’t worked. Tried everything. Sometimes I get vibrating no sound. Sometimes I get the default alarm sound. Sometimes nothing. But if I look at the phone the screen is telling me the alarm is going off.

working different shifts everyday I have to have an alarm I can trust. Of ti the shops now to buy one as I can’t trust this until there is a bug fix

I’m on day 3 at least of no alarm running 15.1.1 IOS, luckily I wake up to my husband. But I’m on my phone and it’s not doing anything alarm wise. So I have set the sleep thing and see if this helps tomorrow. Ugh I need to make sure it is reliable.

Unfortunately it didn’t work. It’s the alarm rather than an issue with panting the music. The alarm, Doesn’t always play a sound sometimes it does. Sometimes it vibrates with no sound sometimes nothing at all.

sjw_11 - Did Apple get back to you with any sort of workaround? I am having this issue, as well. I use timers and alarms for my students, and one of those alarms is to remind me to send a student to the office to take their medication. The timers are also not working and nothing I have done will fix it. The timer doesn't even give the notification to turn off, pause, etc. It just silently ends.

I will submit this to Apple to get more numbers to them, but would like to get a workaround, if any, and not have to wait for their next update to fix it.

Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to figure this out all day. I’ve looked everywhere and literally this is the only place I found that information. Makes total sense now but of course that information would not be put out there for us to understand ahead of time before upgrading. Thanks again!

They called me back a few times, told me it was a "known issue" they were working on. Then they just stopped calling or working on it. Disappointing, Apple. In addition to my alarms not working, my timers also stopped working. This watch will need to go into the garbage pretty soon.

Tried all of the suggestions above. I am using iPhone 11 Pro v15.2

Alarm goes off but is so quiet you cannot hear it. Ring volume is all the way up.

I only know if it is going off if I am looking at the phone.

I’m having the same problem! This is insane!! I’ve tried picking different ringtones for the alarms. I’ve set the alarms at different intervals. 2 minutes apart. Just to make sure I wake up. Starting an hour before I need to get up. Hoping that at least I will hear some faint ding. But no I just get some faint ding once. Not all the different ringtones I chose. Why would one of the most important features on everyone’s phones be messed with. APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS NOW AND ISSUE A NEE UPDATE IMMEDIATELY. Makes me disappointed that I finally went from my 7 to pro max 13. It doesn’t matter if you have a nice phone when your alarm doesn’t work. A basic feature!

Huge thank you to 'Bbstills'. Your solution worked perfectly and I now have music back in my alarms. Pretty stupid that Apple would do this, but thanks for figuring it out :-)

I have a similar issue, the difference is it's intermittent, and using night owl (standard alarm tone) tried the usual remove alarm and add it back, slept in this morning due to it👹👹👹
