iPhone 13 keeps disconnecting from car bluetooth

Thenks for starting this thread last sept. I have posted several times. My problem with my new phone from absolute failure to connect to my Volvo, and after fixing that, dropping Bluetooth connections after 1 call or during calls has been completely resolved with update 15.4.1. I hope this stays resolved but I’m not at all confident in Apple at this point and am disgusted with their failure to take responsibility and the poor support I received.

Just a heads up. 15.4.1 sort of fixed this issue for me. The phone (an SE1 as I returned my 13 mini due to this issue) will connect with the car, remain paired during received, initiated and either while using nav with voice prompts. I've only tried it with Apple Maps so far. However, last night it routed me in some weird way and as I got closer to the destination it became obvious it had no clue where the popular restaurant on a main street was located (in spite of it having the restaurant and correct address in its POI). So hoping Waze works as well. “Sort of” because the audio quality it terrible. But when it comes to Bluetooth, my expectations from Apple are extremely low. My GF's SE3 on 15.4.1 works fine as well. Same terrible audio quality.

After posting a reply to mhalaM that my connection problems are resolved, I also “discovered” the map problem and was routed to a wrong location on the Apple map even though the correct address was listed in the app. And…once connected to my car via Bluetooth the audio quality has been poor with my iphone13.

Same issue here. This is in a 2010 Mercedes W164. Everything worked great with an iPhone XR, but once I "upgraded" to an iPhone 13 it went to pot.

Connects to honda accord however music and other sounds available on iphone only and not on car speakers…

Same. I have 13 pro max and it will not connect via Bluetooth to my Sonata but I had no problem connecting my Bluetooth speaker, camera remote or my earpiece; just not my car.

Brand new iPhone 13 Pro, 15.1. Settings… Bluetooth… Keeps spinning never resolves. No way to add new Bluetooth devices. No list of already connected Bluetooth devices. Nothing. Restart won’t work

Same issue here in a Toyota Highlander, iPhone 13 Max Pro drops Bluetooth connection during a call. It’s not a vehicle issue. Other phones work with no problems. Hope Apple comes up with a fix soon.

Same here. Every other phone works just fine.

I fixed the problem by getting a Samsung smart phone. I am having the same issue with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and Tundra truck.
