iPhone 13 keeps disconnecting from car bluetooth

Hello,

I have issue with my iPhone 13 mini and iOS 15. Bluetooth works very well - basically Spotify through the bluetooth works without any issues.

However calling via bluetooth is really issue for me. I used my bluetooth in my car and also my handsfree device. Unfortunately the situation is the same - if I want to call via bluetooth then the phone call is cancelled after few minutes (sometimes 2 minutes, sometimes 6 minutes).

Could you please fix this?

Thanks

Martin

Try to apply this: Go to the settings --> find bluetooth --> headset --> accessibility --> touch --> call audio routing and change it from automatic to bluetooth headset. That helped to me.

Have similar problems. Bluetooth work ok when playing Spotify in my 2018 vitara. But then LINE calls are a total nightmare. Even when I get it to work through many manual steps, the speaker volume from the other person is very low even tho I turned all volumes all the way up. Kinda regretting getting an iPhone… should’ve stuck with android, never had a connection error

The problem still the same, I updated 15.2 it still cut out when phone call after 6 minutes, message call ended on screen, no Bluetooth connection but on the phone it still go on and you have to switch your phone to speaker in order to continue conversations and then I have to switch off my audio system and turn on again then it would connected again and Bluetooth working again.

Yes this is getting ridiculous iPhone 12 updated to 15.2 last night thinking the issue would resolve for my Tacoma and no luck. 5-6 mins into a call it drops the call and than my audio system gets stuck on whoever I last spoke to and won't disconnect leaving my phone and system frozen. I have found in order to to regain access to my audio system & cell phone I must disconnect my blue tooth and than the cycle repeats very frustrating and dangerous. This software glitch needs to be fixed promptly before this causes someone to be in a accident.

I have a iPhone 13 and it will not connect to more than one car and I have 2 cars that I would like to use bluetooth in. I never had this problem with My iPhone 10! Also, it will not connect my ecoboost speaker or my megaboom speaker. So crazy that they have messed this up.

Another big issue is my reminder don't remind me!!! It's their only job and Reminders can't seem to make it happen. I really dislike my iPhone 13. I don't use my phone for much so the few things I have been accustomed to in prior IPhones would be great if they could work. Seems so silly to take away such great features and not say a word about either of them. Can't find anything on line? Went to ATT store today and they told me that my phone needs to be updated and it would fix everything. I just looked at 3 paid employees doing nothing and said if you believe that then I have some ocean front property in Arizona!

Well, the new IOS update didn't help me either. I had 1 successful call, the 1st one after the update (and not to forget paying the dealer $75 to upgrade my head unit in my 2017 Tundra)....subsequent calls after were dropped by Bluetooth. In fact, the last call that dropped, while I was driving, shut down my entire stereo system and it rebooted itself...just like if I had started the ignition and it went through it's start up process. I want this fixed and I want to be reimbursed by Apple for the $75 I spent to have my Toyota computer upgraded (I never had any issues until I switched from my iPhone 8+ to the 13 Pro). This is all on Apple's shoulders!

I have 2010 Volvo XC70 and the hands-feee worked well with my iPhone 6S. I have not been able to use my new iPhone 13 hands-feee in the Volvo and have tried everything suggested by Apple, people in this stream, and my car manual. VERY frustrating and dangerous while driving. Am on hold right now with Apple support but don’t know how long I’ll wait…only to be told to take all the steps I’ve already taken.

Kevinpaul7 I can’t make a call via Bluetooth. Interestingly though I was talking to my Volvo dealer service about it while walking to my car; when I got in my car & started it up the phone switched to hands-freeI & I spoke with them hands-free…so it does work. When I finished with that call I made another call that connected hands-free but then immediately disconnected from hands-free to the iphone itself. So it worked once!

I do not have CarPlay as others have talked about.

it has nothing to do with carplay, nothing to do with the automobiles whatsoever as its every make and model vehicle this is occurring in.

The ONLY thing problem has in common is iOS 15+. Apple is the only thing that this problem has in common on a case by case basis.

Now, if only they were a more open company that acknowledged its consumers issues, we may get somewhere...
