Overcharging battery

I accidentally left my iPhoneSE 2020 connected to the charger overnight which I had never done before. I’m worried to be honest as it’s battery health already went down to 89% in 11 months of usage! Will it damage the battery or reduce its maximum charge holding capacity drastically? Help me please, feeling really bad

iPhone SE, iOS 15

You cannot overcharge an iPhone. It is actually recommended that you plug your phone in to charge when you go to bed and leave it plugged in all night. You should be using Optimized Battery Charging on the phone (Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Optimized Battery Charging) which learns your schedule by charging the phone to 80% faster, then holds off finishing the charge to 100% until just before you typically get up for the day.

Another advantage to leaving it plugged in all night is while the phone is locked and connected to Wifi, it will backup to iCloud nightly ensuring you can't lose data if something goes wrong. You need to turn on iCloud Backup for this happen if you don't have iCloud backup on.
