ios 15 - iphone voice memos dont sync with itunes

Since the upgrade to ios 15 voice memos are not syncing to itunes.

I have the voice memo check boxes selected.

I have been able to do this many many times before the upgrade.

My ipad has ios 12.5.5 and the voice memos sync immediately with itunes.

I have found a workaround by saving the voice memo to an icloud folder, opening icloud and saving the file to my computer which then opens in itunes. Not ideal, but a workaround for now until this issue is resolved.

Can someone please help sort this out or advise if its an issue with ios 15.0 ++

Also, I noticed that when my iPhone 12 is plugged into my PC (USB cord) and I open iTunes and then click on the phone in the top left then open Voice Memos (presumably those on the iPhone), all of the old voice memos are greyed out and each one has that dotted circle on the left side. I think that means that the computer doesn't see the already existing voice memos on the iPhone? Those voice memos ARE on the phone as I can see them and play them on the phone. For what that's worth.... Ken
