I phone 13 pro has no noise cancellation option anymore in settings for phone calls. If you go to (settings, Accessibility then Audio/Visual.) there is no option anymore for phone noise cancellation. Only in facetime calls.

I have the exact same issue and it bothered me so much that i was close to returning my phone today!! (Using iPhones 15 years, this is my 7s one and it never happened before) then I realized its the issue with all the 13 series and not just mine. Its just annoying that apple support and apple stores make you reset your phone so many time or just return and get a new one when the issue is in all the line up instead of acknowledging the issue and trying to solve it, anyway for now try to put your phone upside down on the stand and as long as the background noise is not so loud on the other side of the call the issue wont happen! Hopefully it can be fixed with a software update!
Upgraded to 15.0.02, no parental control,closed apps and turned off and restarted phone. Still no option for noise cancellation on iPhone 13 pro of were it should be. Seems like I’m not the only one out there with the new iPhone 13 that doesn’t have that option anymore. Bummer! Hopefully in the near future Apple will have a new update to bring this back to their phones.
Actually iPhone 13 do not support noise cancellation. The news is already confirmed from reliables source. I am not sure if Apple will able to workaround with software update. I have iPhone 13 pro and really disappointed to read why such basic feature was removed without any notice.
Same with my IPhone 13 Pro Max, it is only an option with FaceTime. I finally received an answer from support it os not on the iPhone 13’s.
This sucks if you are using the speaker phone. I can hear every little sound in the background.

There is no solution yet, it is not a software issue. I and my daughter has XR and same software version no problem. But 11 to 13 has some mic problem. I got replacement 13 pro max, same issue brand new Apple ID and account same issue we bought 11 and same issue and so we are stuck with 13 pro max without FaceTime or WhatsApp video calls or speaking with speaker. I think Apple will have recall due to defective mic.
I contacted them via chat today about this, and they told me that no one had called about this issue before. I gave them the URL of this chat. They asked me to upgrade from 15.1 to 15.2, check if my case covered any of the small holes, asked if it happens in multiple apps, etc. My family uses Whatsapp, and it worked fine on my old iPhone 8, on my husband's iPhone SE, and one an old LG Android Phone. However, any of us that have an iPhone 13, when we talk, the person on the other end hears us on and off unless it's TOTALLY quiet on their end (which it never is.) On prior devices, the solution would be to turn on noise cancellation, but now that appears to be gone. So, as many of us as have 30+ minutes to spend with tech support should call this in. Insist that they escalate it to engineering.
My spouse called from a very loud environment, as was I. We heard each other crystal clear. It’s not an option because they fixed it. Same with app videos, etc.

Has anyone tried to see if a headset or headphones with a mic would fix this? That could help isolate between hardware and software.
I can confirm that my wife 13 Pro doesn't have that option as well. Though, the issue that we are getting is a lot more annoying. Still can't narrow it down but for example, I am on the receiving end of a FaceTime call 13 Pro to XR and the sound would cut out frequently when you place the 13 Pro on any surface, even on a stand designed for such purpose. No difference with or without a case either. Am I the only one experiencing this issue?
We got iPhone 11 and same problem persist so it is software issue that affects all of the phones. When you are on speaker call on video or phone, you audio getting cut as soon as other side start talking. I have no option than waiting them to fix this bug.
Having same issue on my iPhone 13 too. Voice is breaking in between during phone calls on loudspeaker, whatsapp calls, FaceTime. It started when I updated to iOS 15.1, too annoying. Btw, how frequently they released update for such fixes ??
No, not fixed yet, yes for me (and i think most of us by reading the comments) it is only when you put on speaker and lean your phone to somewhere with speakers close to the surface or when the background noise is loud
