Music player and locked screen - iOS15

Been dealing with this for months. Sooooo annoying and frustrating! I'm use my blutooth earbuds for the phone and navigation but I DON'T want the music player on my lock screen where I have a picture of my wife and grandbaby. When I use tye player I prefer to go directly into the Music App! I have tried everything off and on for weeks to permanently get rid of the music player lock screen widget. Apple support seems to be incompetent! Apple iOS developers seem to fk things up every time they change something. Samsung doesn't have this problem and I'm seriously thinking of switching back with my next phone. Get it together Apple!

iOS 15.1 does NOT fix this.

I have the same issue with the music App showing up on the lockscreen on my iPad. I have iOS 15.1 and Bluetooth is turned OFF altogether. I want this to go away. I never use it.

I have bluetooth hearing aids and this music app on my lock screen is very annoying. Apple is trying as hard as they can to get everyone to download songs and other crap that no one wants for a fee.

When is the next update? Four weeks past your response and the problem still exists.....Apple is slow as molasses running uphill in the wintertime.

This is driving me nuts. Apple - please fix this.

Hard rest does not fix it, it’s just another ******* glitch of Apple iOS!
