ios15 - Text Replacement keeps disappearing

I updated my iPhone 12 Pro Max to IOS15 and from the outset, the text replacement facility no longer works. If I add in shortcuts, they last only a minute or so before being erased from memory.

I waited for IOS15.0.1, hoping this would cure the issue. No such thing.

I've just updated to IOS15.0.2. Still no cure.

When is Apple going to address this bug? Am so regretting upgrading to IOS15 and will certainly not rush into IOS16 when it comes.

To all still having this issue. I spoke with tech support 3x. I installed 15.2.1 and that didn’t fix it. We reset predictive text and that didn’t fix it. Lastly we signed out of Apple ID and signed back in; and that did it. Text replacement shortcuts has been working for several days now. Good luck!
