I cannot add any tickets or boarding passes to my apple wallet
As other people mentioned.. open in safari. I was trying to dl my ticket sent via email and it opened it in the email, not safari browser. (Thought it was safari?) after opening it on the actual safari app I was able to add my boarding pass onto my Apple wallet.
I had this problem and tried several solutions. What works is to open the tickets in Safari, not Chrome. Then the « Add tickets to Apple Wallet » button worked as intended.
I was having difficulty adding tickets to Apple wallet because I was using Firefox as my browser. When I copied the link and opened it in Safari, Apple wallet excepted the ticket right away.
That was the answer! The “helpful” article Apple provided was a complete waste of time (check all settings, reboot, etc). YOU HAVE TO CLICK IT ONLY IN SAFARI (what a relief but, yes, another reason to dislike Apple - how extremely irritating and why didn’t they just tell you that in the first place)!
This is the answer. It MUST be done in Safari versus Google or Firefox. Another reason to dislike Apple.

I was trying to add the Avelo airlines boarding pass to my Apple wallet in Google chrome and nothing. But using Safari worked like a charm. 👍
Thank you, using Safari on my iPhone 12 mini running 15.5 worked for me. Did not work with the other two browser apps I mostly use. Very illogical captain...
THIS WORKED FOR ME!! I went through Safari and it worked like it always used to! So frustrating!!
It doesn't work on my iPhone 13 either when boarding pass link from AA from my email and click on the Add to Apple Wallet button. I work around it by copying the link to Google Chrome and I can add my boarding pass to Apple Wallet.
I had to work with the vendor directly, they sent me a link via text message and email to redeem my tickets. Using the redeem link they sent me directly made it possible to have a version of tickets I could add to my Apple wallet. This was for Sun Devils Athletic events.

The option is there. It’s just not working. It’s not the merchant. I’ve tried 2 different tix to two different events from two different merchants. It’s not working. Neither are the boarding passes. I have never had a problem before with a boarding pass. So again the answer is not there. It would be great to get an actual reply with help rather than a reply that’s not helping. So please refrain from replying back if you cannot offer help. Thanks.
so... what's the deal?? I have the same problem - the "Add to Apple Wallet" button is there - you click on it - nothing! Logged out, logged back in, WiFi is on, your instructions tell you HOW to do it... it doesn't work... what are our options? ?
It seems it’s only good for adding unlimited credit cards and public transit passes. Useless. Is there a third party app that does what Apple wallet should do?
