Big Sur reset image view default.

Big Sur 11.6

Some how and for what reason all the images/photos in my 'Pictures' folder are showing at different sizes.

How do I set a default view of all the photos in my "Pictures" folder.

For example if I open the main 'Pictures' folder I then have all my sub folders. IE Holidays, Garden etc etc.

If I open up the Holidays folder the photos are a certain size. If I then open the Garden folder the photos are a different size.

Is there a way to set all the images in every subfolder the same size rather than going into each one and setting them the same manually.

Thanks for any replies.

Can you provide us with a screenshot of what you're seeing in the Pictures folder?

Are you viewing that folder as icons, a list, gallery or columns?

As a first fix attempt try the following: boot into Safe Mode according to Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files
