4013 on ipad 7th gen issue

My ipad is essentially a brick and it didn't do this till the update but yet it is my problem because of a hardware malfunction due to their update. Help refuses to even offer half or a portion to get a new one.

Considering a surface pro after this and an android.

The iPad is on but only shows an image prompting the plugging in of the cable and the top of screen is the link for support.apple.com/ipad/restore. When I try to search the link, it is dead. Why did Apple brick my device with a dodgy update ??? It was working perfectly before the update. I will not be expected to take my device to an apple store and PAY to have this fixed either. It is their fault. What do I do now ? Is there something I can do ?

17.0.2 Update -> iPad Pro is Unresponsive I tried to update my iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd generation) from 17.0 to 17.0.2. I was using the iPad reliably just before the update, but during the update installation, the screen went dark. Now, the device is completely unresponsive. I tried a hard restart, but it didn't work. I tried to connect to a Windows 11 computer using iTunes, but the PC didn't detect the device. The Genius at the Apple Store couldn't get it to power on either but ran diagnostics only to tell me that the device was in the middle of the update. The Genius thinks I should buy a new one. I'd like to know if anyone else has had my experience or recommends another solution. Thanks.

Satisfaction was really high before, but this time it's really disappointing. My eldest son's iPad 7 Generation did a last version update and stopped turning it on. It used to work fine without any problems. I showed iPad your Perth city genies bar branch yesterday at 12:20 pm. Your staff said hardware failure. I don't understand. Why does a working iPad become a hardware failure? Please check it again. iPad serial number F9FZL02LMF3M.

anyone else have a similar issue? I know that Apple has had logic board issues as of late. See 2018 Macbooks.
