calendar is slow to respond after update to ios 15.1 on iphone XSmax

Same here. I have the flagship iPhone 13 Pro Max and it can’t load my calendar properly. It loads or renders properly after 30-60 seconds, roughly.

I have this problem, but now also start to experience this issue on my MBP…seems to be a more general problem.

iphone 11 Pro. ios 15. Outlook exchange and Google calendars. Can only fix if force quit calendar. Stopping and restarting calendar in account settings did nothing. This really is unacceptable.

I have found if you toggle your Wi-Fi on and off this will temporarily fix your calendar issues… Until Apple opens up to it and comes out with a fix

It was working absolutely fine before the latest round of updates.

Same here, serious regressions in calendar after 15.1 upgrade, it is slow, crashes etc

After update to iOS 15.1.1:

Bug still exists on iPhone 13 pro.

Reducing Sync to 2 weeks does not help here. The calendar app still freezes and crashes. With iOS 15.1.1.

Indeed. Was released yesterday, only for iPhone 13 / 13 pros.

It took some time (like 30 minutes) for the app to speed up.

After one night the app is still functioning faster than before (like the app is workable). However I agree still not what it used to be.

Hi Apple, take this: Installed Google Calendar from Apple App-Store. Problem solved! Apple Calendar-App deleted. Done!

The calendar runs slowly like soup. I try to add a link in the calendar, like this https://www.garasje-bobiltelt.no/partytelt-topptelt/ without it being useful to add a partytelt.

Same issue for me. I am using an iPhone 13 Pro Max with iOS 15.1.1. Everything in my calendar stucks and lags. That’s really annoying.
