AirPods 3 High Pitched noise.

I don’t really want to have to risk it with a 3rd pair as i don’t live near an apple store and i’m going to have to travel 40 minutes as it is to take back the 2nd pair. I’d rather just upgrade to the Pros which i shouldn’t have to seen as they are more expensive and i’m not the biggest fan but i don’t really see any other options as Apple don’t seem to care.

I am also experiencing exact same problem. The accessibility solution works well for the iPhone but when I connect back to MacBook, right bud goes crazy again. This is such a deal breaker. I am getting headaches. This is my second pair with the same issue as I returned the first one. I will have to return this one as well :(

Hello! I have the same problem with my brand new AirPods 3! The right bud makes strange noises when not playing and when the music is not at high volume! Does anybody have a solution and should I be worried?

Same issue with mine. Got the exchanged and the new ones have the same problem. This is disappointing and shows that there is a large amount of AirPods circulating with this issue which can't be ignored by Apple.

Same issue, returned the first one and bought another one as Apple support said you have a faulty AirPods 3. The second one has the same issue. So annoying, not sure to wait for a fix or return these ones too.

Same issue here but it’s a high pitched humming sound in both AirPods. I have had four pairs now and same issue with every single pair. Super annoying and really wish there could be a fix. Senior advisor and engineering team said to send my AirPods back and they will give me a replacement but I said no cause how is that fixing the issue when I already returned three pairs and was given a brand new box each time. Definitely do not recommend and very disappointed. Giving me a new pair is not going to fix the problem as the four pairs that I have already had not one pair worked without the high pitched humming. So annoying

Did you share by a chance with them about this "discussion", so they know how is many of us having the issue?

I am having my second pair any time soon, if they are bad I will tell them, if they are good, I will share the news here. But I see in other sites, how people is even for the 4th replace an nothing, so as you say, waste of time, I am like giving up...

Yes I shared the forum post from apple forums and other websites with people discussing the same thing. The first time I reached out to apple was actually to ask them record this issue as it seems widespread. I never asked them for service or a replacement. I just want them to fix this as otherwise they are the best AirPods for my needs.

Dang, I think you are absolutely right. Especially how busy malls are right now I am dreading going to have another set not work. Think I am going to cancel and hope this is fixed before the year warranty ends (which should!!)

I think apples solution of exchange for a new pair is ridiculous. It’s terrible when you’ve done it with four pairs in a row in a matter of days after getting them exchanged or replaced. Terrible problem solving/solution finding to have the issue resolved. There are so many people who are dealing with this same situation and apple could at least acknowledge it and come up with some sort of explanation and what the plan is moving forward.

Sent in my first pair of Airpods 3, apple then "repaired" them by sending over a new pair which took over two and a half weeks.

2nd pair has the same issue and I'm beginning to think that this iteration is a dud and I need to look elsewhere.

After multiple attempts to resolve with different tiers of tech support, a new iPhone and the latest firmware for the AirPods 3 (4C165), the issue is not resolved. Still having faux tinnitus and excess battery drain in the right bud. Apple please fix this!

I have the same issue and the rain sound fix is not working. I’m going to try the reset options and if that doesn’t work, get a refund and go back to my first gen AirPods. I’m not paying $200+ For something that gives me a migraine.

Apple, will you please respond here? It’s insane that so many people are reporting the same problem, that the same proposed fixes are accomplishing nothing, and that months later, we’re all still waiting for a response from you.

Yea me too, I also just came across a problem where my right airpod won’t connect. It won’t show up like at all, when I restarted it would show the case and my left airpod but the right one is just not there. I haven’t dropped it in water or anything and it’s fairly new. Anyone know how to fix this??
