Universal Clipboard doesn't work on Monterey

I solved this problem by completely logging out of iCloud on my MacBook (Monterey 12.1) and then on my phone. It's a bit of hassle but it worked, when I signed in again I had re-set up some of iCloud stuff like Apple Pay etc. but it doesn't take too long if you have decent internet.

When I was busy setting it up it picked up that I was using a different language on the phone and the MacBook (two different regional variations of English) and I think it may be a requirement for handoff - maybe check your language options on the two devices first to see if they are the same.

I did not work immediately when I tested it but after a few minutes it worked. I think possibly it has to some cloud security stuff before it works properly.

I just upgraded to Monterey approximately Jan. 15, 2022 (running 12.1) and it will not copy and paste. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max and have no issue with copy and paste. I have a feeling there's more than a few of us Apple. Would like a fix for this.

Same problem here. Naturally, I have all devices updated and have read all the instructions. This used to work perfectly, but stopped copying the clipboard from iOS to macOS a few months ago. The other direction still works fine. (Not interested in logging out from iCloud on my entire Apple ecosystem, nor rebooting and zapping pram etc on my Mac. Enough of these 1900's mitigations now.)

Which version of iPadOS are you running? I can copy text/images from my M1 MBA running Monterey to my iPad Pro running iPadOS 15.1.

ASTRO24, I believe you may be confusing Universal Control, which will be available later this fall, with Universal Clipboard, which is working for the most part for me. At least on my newer Macs.

It works from my iPhone 6s running iOS 15.1 to my M1 MBA running macOS 12.0.1.

both devices are on the same wifi, bluetooth is on, handoff is on and they’re in range

Are you sure you mean for Universal Clipboard?

Still not working for me. I followed all those steps, Handoff is working. All I can see is "Scan Text" when I attempt to paste (Macbook Pro 2019 Intel to iPhone XS Max iOS 15.1).

I updated around the same time, Jan. 15, 2022, and the universal clipboard has not worked since. Very frustrating. Have wasted tons of time with support trying to fix it to no avail.
