I had same problem with my iPhone 12 Pro Max after upgrading to iOS 15.1. After troubleshooting with online support and then at the genus bar, we decided to perform a device reset but kept the data on the device. Since then I’ve restored my phone’s normal battery life of practically a full days use like I had before. Hope that helps someone else facing this issue.

Hi,
I have had no battery issues whatsoever.
This applies to both my iPhone and iPad running iOS and iPadOS 15.2.
Hope this helps out!
Do you wirelessly connect, sync, or backup to a Macintosh? if so, what version of Mac OS is on that Mac? Thanks!
Hi,
No I did not.
That is why I answered the question as I did originally.
Sorry for the confusion! Best of luck!
The same thing is happening to my iPhone after the15.1 update. Battery drain has been really bad after the update. I have done all of recommended fixes and nothing is working.
iOS 15.2 Battery Drain
Is anyone experiencing any battery drain issues with iOS 15.2?
Not yet. Installed about 2 hours ago.
Yep battery draining fast for me too on iPad mini 5😕
I started a new thread for iOS 15.2 battery drain issues, so we don't clog up this one for people still on 15.1.
No it doesn't. Same terrible battery drain as with 15.1. iPhone 12 mini, 5 days with 15.2.
@DocJekyl Thank you for your tips, but... I don't have a Mac nor an iPad ;) my iPhone is not paired with anything.
As for Reset Network Settings, I did that several times, didn't help.
@BasCelik - I’m sorry to hear that.
I am having the same problem on my iPad. It is ridiculous. Any solutions to the problem?
Yeah, it’s a battery pig.
The battery health 85% and has been that for months and months.
For what it's worth, I disabled background app refresh and I've seen a massive improvement to the battery. When I left the house this morning the battery was at 98%. Five and half hours later it's at 79%. Hope someone else finds this useful. If a few of us could try this and report back to see if they have also had an improvement. Of course, this isn't a solution or a workaround. Just an observation as to what service may be draining the battery.
