2021-007 Security Update Catalina causes crash of Fusion 360

Yes also the same problem, everything worked properly and after the update everything related to WebGL stopped working.

No web page using WebGL can open and the browser crashes.

I hope for a quick solution, as we are therefore unable to continue developing a WebGL-based project on the current mac mini.

But after renewing a yearly suscription to Autodesk Fusion 360 in october and having my computer broken today by Apple itself, I will need still some more Mindfullness sessions to keep my writing free of "floral expressions".

Iam wondering how the European authorities think, maybe we do not support your device but when the software break the computer then uhm it would be a intresting case. Cause why you update a computer that you don’t support anymore. Before the update it was fine now you broke it. so apple should we do a consumer right claim in Europe guess I will Win and the company have the same case as with the updates of iPhones that makes the phone slower. So just go fix it then we all are happy. No one wants to go to court or make consumers issues.

I'm having issues with ONE APP, it's a financial app that has everything basically there. The developer doesn't know whats going on. It never happened until right after an ethernet plugged update to the security release. Right after, nothing but problems.

I hope someone may find a fix since I doubt Apple will. What's more, I think they broke HD4000 drivers purposely ... After all it's an old Apple's practice to force people buy their new hardware. Well, I'm not buying shxt, rolling back to whatever used to work instead. Legal or not, it's an unethical practice.

I decided downgrade to Lion OS and deleted SSD for update to Mojave.

But i have HDD to (in Fusion Drive as two different drives in OS)

I Clear SSD.... and... This method deleted all data in my HDD.

I purposely didn't buy a MacBook Pro because of the user-hostile practices of un-repairability (r2r), un-upgradability, and poor usability. Apple could win be back as a customer, but actions like these makes me think I made the right choice.

No. The latest security update was actually a small boost in value—not a theft of it—Apple will not fix what they don’t see as broken. Our machines are “vintage” now. See, you might have been under the delusion that these were fully functional, upgradable, repairable machines. No. They’re too old. They should be barely usable at best by now. The durable, modular manufacturing that went into them was the only mistake. Soooo old. Don’t you know laptops need to be replaced ever 5 years forever no matter how people use them or how technology develops? Frankly it would be gross if Apple didn’t euthanize them with software updates and just allowed us to continue having access to the hardware we own. Put the fossils behind glass, they are museum pieces now.

My mid-2012 Macbook Pro is experiencing same problems. Chrome cannot access WebGl. Google Earth wont run. Bug seems to affect Google products especially.

Apparently Apple doesn’t look at “discussions” You have to submit bug reports which it’s doubtful that they give any feedback.

I turned off "automatic graphics switching" in energy saver/system settings and fusion360 now starts.
