As you can see from my penultimate reply, model code A2220 corresponds to an iPhone model 11Pro Max manufactured for China/Hong Kong/Macao markets.

It should support two physical nano SIM cards (not eSIM).

Contact your cellular carrier, explain your problem, and ask for a physical nano SIM card.

Hi Sinchana,

It doesn't matter the country you are in now, the important thing is the country market which your iPhone was manufactured for.

If you already tried (to no avail) to read the EID code SCROLLING DOWN in Settings>General>About, let us check your exact Model Number.

Tap that field and please tell us the "Axxxx" code (where xxxx are four numbers).

Assuming (as indicated in your product list on your original question) that your iPhone is a 11Pro Max model, you should find:

  • A2161 = for the USA
  • A2218 = for other countries around the world
  • A2220 = for China, Hong Kong, Macao.

Please let us know.

Giulio
