Apple Watch workout notification keeps pausing music

Hello,

I have a new apple watch 7 which I use for walking and running. During my running and walking session, my music (Spotify) stops when I get the progress notification (after 1km or 2km progress). I have to push on the play button by myself to restart it. My question is, can I change it that my music will play during the hole workout without stopping when I get my interim notifications? (how can I change it ;) ).

I turned off the “Voice Feedback” setting on my watch workout setting and it fixed the issue. That setting has a bug that shuts music off when it activates. This is fine for me cause I don’t care for Siri to interrupt me when I’m in the zone on my work out

This is not really a solution- We WANT the notifications! That is one of the reasons I wear the watch while exercising, so it provides feedback on pace, etc.

My workout notifications seem to only work when using the "Time to Walk" audio. It used to work when I wasn't using "Time to Walk" but no longer.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I use power beat ear buds and have the same unpairing problem from workout updates.
