Screen Flickering at Boot - MacBook Pro 14

So, I just noticed this since this is my first reboot since I got it.

The screen flickers very weird when my Mac boots. Anyone else facing this?

Hii

I have tried the option to reset the SMC (System Management Controller) and it solved the issue for me.

just simply shut down your laptop and make sure the power cable is connected, then hold the buttons (Control, Option, Shift) for 7 seconds then hold the power button until you see the login page.

I hope it will solve your issue too.

Hi Sonicray,

I faced this issue as well. I've just bought new M1 PRO 16" a few days ago and updated 12.0.1 Monterey.

When my Mac boots, I was typing password then press button it goes black(Screen Flickering) then start normally.

There's no any issue while using my Mac. The solutions what you provided I think that uses for Intel.

Do you know is this a bug or issue? Please share us if you figure out the root causes or how to reset both SMC and NVRAM for M1. Many Thanks
