How do I get Monterey screensaver to show the mat-geo photos.

Yes, I know the steps and followed
no matter what “source” I select I only get a black or white screen
i used the nat-geo pics in the past, but I can’t even get colors to work
dynamic backgrounds are selected for screens
but changing to static does not change snything
i also have screen sleep set to never, but no matter the value, no change
On December 13, 2021 Apple released 12.1. The update is 2.36GB and requires a system restart upon installation, but this should resolve you issue. It is one of the bug fixes.
The problem has NOT been solved by 12.1, photos selected from an album still show as unedited versions in screensaver…… I long for the “iLife”, things were so much better back then!!
The only solution I can see at the moment is to export the album you want as screensaver to a folder of jpegs and then reference screensaver to that folder.
