Keyboard freeze when using facebook comments

Man.....I have been struggling with this for two weeks. It occurred to me today that it might be keyboard related because I was not having an issue with any of my other devices. Pop the keyboard off and BOOM.....it works perfectly. I Googled it that way and came across your fix. I would never have found that. Thanks so much.

They did fix it, just update your Facebook app

Have you turned OFF full keyboard access? That should do it.

I am having the exact issue, IT IS THE KEYBOARD. As soon as I remove the iPad from the keyboard, the app responds fine. YES, I did every step of the suggested troubleshooting recommended by Stevi_S, MANY times, it’s not the app, it’s 100% the keyboard. Just started happening as soon as I updated iOS as well. ALL of my apps and software are updated automatically, never an issue there. HELP

To fix that go more deeply into the Accessibility settings where you can find the place where Space gets that special function and change that.

I can confirm. Apple releases today a ‘not final’ update to IOS which fixes the issue. For those who are adventurous, you can try it yourself.

Same thing happening to me. Full keyboard access stops Facebook from freezing but its putting the blue line around everything and won’t let me use the space bar on my Smart Keyboard for the ipad.

The problem seems to have been resolved by today’s Facebook update.

All problems fixed for me.

I tried that several times & it didn’t work for me. Only the Facebook update has fixed things in my case.

Its funny you have mentioned, same problem here, but its very strange that happens only on Magic keyboard , not on touchscreen. Anyway, i think its a bug, hope facebook new update can fix it.

I still have the blue boxes and can’t seem to get them turned off or find the setting to turn it off. If I have the accessibility keyboard on, i get blue boxes, but I can click on facebook comments with the keyboard on, otherwise, i can’t click on the comments with the keyboard attached.
